To Representatives: Sue Myrick (NC), Paul Broun (GA), Pete Hoekstra (MI), John Shadegg (AZ), Trent Franks (AZ) February 2009
As a US citizen, I very much appreciate your leadership role in addressing what I call political islam. I have posted and distributed your good words and those of the anti-terror caucus. The Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the Muslim Student Association (MSA), present a grave danger to the security and liberty of the US and the West.
Political Islam should be a priority of the new administration and Congress, as well as the Courts. We must elevate the topic to the public forum for open and forthright discussion as there are irreconcilable incompatibilities between the US Constitution and certain tents of Islam found in Islamic or ‘divine’ sharia law.
I have attached a Citizens’ Declaration of Threat & Plea for Relief which states nine reasons why political Islam creates jeopardy to the US/the West and lists 18 potential legislative actions to deter political Islam. It is available on-line in several locations and is posted as a petition for signature. I think this could be a useful tool to focus the discussion on liberty, equality, secularism and security.
This is not racial, ethnic or religious in nature; it relates to the political aims of those who promote the political elements of Islam. What Islamic texts and leadership convey to the Believer about their salvation is religious and of little concern. However, what Islamic texts and leadership convey to the Believer about the treatment of the non-Believer is pure politics. And when this politics includes harm, deception, discrimination, legal or physical intimidation, rape, murder and utter subjugation, it should matter to all freedom-loving people across the globe.
I thank our for your time and consideration
